Very sorry I won't be there.  Love seeing the list of names.  Would love to see everyone.  Living in Hawaii and still teaching.  School actually starts the last week of July so I'll be busy with a class full of second graders.  Have a wonderful time. Best wishes to you all.

Aloha,

Man!,, I'd so love to be back for that but I am on the other side of the world and won't be able to make it, as I was home earlier this past Winter.  Keep me abreast of all the plans and such though,,, great to see that old photo above,, did pretty good going through those names before I cheated and zoomed in!

Many blessings to all that are going to make this thing happen,, again, my deepest regrets, maybe I can make the 60th,, find a good nursing home for that! ))))

Sorry to say I am unable to attend the reunion. It looks like it will be a lot of fun. I would have enjoyed seeing my classmates. I have enjoyed receiving the emails.

The pictures certainly bring back so many memories. I think the 5th grade teacher you are trying to identify was Miss Schneider.

Our family moved to Baltimore,Md in 1966. I am still living here. I have not been to HP for about 20 years. Hope you all have a wonderful time.

Sad News from Jeanette Badal about Steve Samusson

by Your Classmate on 06/15/13

Steve Samusson died about 4 years ago from lung cancer. He had been living in Dallas for decades with his wife and son. He was a wonderful man and a loyal friend.

Very sorry I can't make the EPS 50th reunion this August, but I have a prior commitment in Philadelphia and New York at that time.

I've been in California since 1964, except for a couple of years in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I was happy to get back to Evanston and Highland Park when my daughter did her undergraduate studies at Northwestern.  I love the North Shore and have so many wonderful memories of my years there.

Elm Place 4th Grade Play

John Hinde

by Your Classmate on 12/27/12

You know Elm Place was a wonderful place to become educated and I am grateful
for my parents to have selected a top notch educational public school.

The ethnic and cultural diversity of Highland Park has a lot to offer.

The North Shore offers a great example of an excellent working community where
most people offer a helping hand to those that need help. generally speaking,
educated people are better off than less educated folks.

I was not the brightest kid in school, but always attended class and wanted to
learn more each day.

I look forward to see my good old friends.

Health is wealth, be good to yourself,
John Hinde
